So, I wasn’t be able to go to my local Friends of the Library sale last month (and I am SUPER bummed), but I did pick up these new reads in the last month from the Barnes & Noble #BookHaul and from Book of the Month Club and I’m very excited to get through my books on deck to get to these! There are also a few ARCs I’ll be reading and reviewing this month too.
As we celebrate Women’s History Month, I can’t help but overhear or read comments about the beauty, or lack thereof, or prominent female figures in history. It’s baffling to me that even in knowing the impact that certain women had/have on today’s society, people are still quick to comment on their appearance before their accomplishments….

2018 was the year of falling back in love with reading and the books that played a key role in morphing me into the young woman (ew, adulting) that I am today.
