This may be the first novel I’ve ever read that I needed to take breaks from and write notes for. It’s such an enigma, but strategically so.
Dhonielle Clayton continues to weave a masterful web ensnaring my attention and my appreciation. The world of Orléans she has built has quickly become one that I long to return to.
I really enjoyed this book! The modern retelling of a classic book from a Mexican American family in the Trump era was a story line I did not see coming!
